Visma acquires Pappila Penkkala Group (PPG) to strengthen its position within the Finnish order-to-cash market.
PPG is a fast growing Finnish company specializing on the order-to-cash process, helping customers optimizing the entire process from invoicing to collecting of payment in order to speed up cash flow, cut costs and obtain a strong competitive advantage for their customers.
- This acquisition is an important step to broaden our offering in the Finnish market. The order-to-cash process is a vital business process for all businesses and PPG adds considerable expertise and experience in helping customers optimising this process. We appreciate PPG as a high quality, fast growing company with a dedicated and focused management team and believe PPG will add significant value to Visma, says Eivind Gundersen, Division Director at Visma.
- Visma’s acquisition of PPG is a natural step in our decisive strategy for growth. We identify with Visma’s corporate culture and it is a great match. The acquisition provides a great opportunity for us to reach new markets and bring our services to a larger segment of customers, says Matias Mäenpää, CEO in PPG Oy.
- To be a part of the Visma group, will also provide opportunities for PPG’s legal services. Within Legal services we are mainly focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises and Visma has already many customers within this segment, says Samuli Tuomikosksi, Leading Legal Counsel in PPG Oy.
With the change of ownership, PPG’s new name will be Visma PPG. The company will continue its operation in Visma as an independent subsidiary.
