The 2024 Sustainable Gambling Conference gathered over 200 industry experts, stakeholders, and individuals with lived experiences of harmful gambling in The Oval Stadium in South West London.
The focus was on "Safer Gambling: A look into the future," discussing topics such as artificial intelligence, cooperation, affordability, and transparency. Key highlights included discussions on the importance of regulatory adaptation for the digital age, the role of AI in gambling, and the need for ethical use. The event also featured powerful personal stories from individuals affected by harmful gambling and emphasised the importance of collaboration over human interaction.
