Visma appoints Ari-Pekka Salovaara as Chief Growth Officer
Will drive expansion and sustainable growth across the Visma Group.
Visma, a leading provider of mission-critical software in Europe and Latin America, announces the appointment of Ari-Pekka Salovaara as Chief Growth Officer.
Ari-Pekka joined Visma in 2010, when the software company he led and co-founded, Severa, was acquired by the Group. In 2019 he joined Visma’s Group Management as Segment Director for Small Business, overseeing operations across 20 countries and playing a pivotal role in driving growth and profitability.
In his role as Chief Growth Officer, Ari-Pekka is responsible for driving expansion and sustainable growth across the Visma Group. Together with the executive team, he will work to identify new growth opportunities and expand market presence in both existing and new geographies.
In addition to his role as Chief Growth Officer, he will continue as Segment Director for Visma’s product portfolio for small and emerging businesses, serving 1.9 million customers with intuitive solutions for core needs like accounting, payroll, invoicing and tax. Ari-Pekka will also play a key role in driving collaboration and synergies between Visma companies and products, to create an increasingly seamless and unified experience for customers.
