Therese Cedercreutz elected as Chairman of the Board for EAB Group Plc
The Board of Directors of EAB Group Plc (EAB, Company) has in its meeting today 18 September 2019 elected Therese Cedercreutz (born 1969) as Chairman of the Board. Cedercreutz has been a member of the Board since spring 2019. She has more than 25 years of international experience in business development, strategy, sales and marketing. Cedercreutz has assisted several successful Finnish public companies in their strategy work and business development. She is the founder and CEO of We Are Inc Ltd.
In addition to being Chairman of Board of EAB, Cedercreutz has been a member of the Board for Tokmanni Group Plc and HappyorNot Ltd since 2016. Cedercreutz holds a Master of Science in Business Administration.
”After moving to the main list of the Helsinki Stock Exchange, EAB is in a very interesting phase, and I believe that the company can succeed even better by focusing in responsible investing and product development related to that. I have gotten familiar with the company during this year and I’m sure I can help the company in its’ next development phase using my experience from strategy work and choosing what to focus on”, says Chairman of the Board Therese Cedercreutz.
Long-term Chairman Kari Juurakko will, in addition to continuing as Board member, serve as Senior Advisor and concentrate on M&A transactions for clients as well as for the company.
”I have served as Chairman of the Board since Elite was established 18 years ago. The company, that I was involved in creating, has now transferred to the main list of the Helsinki Stock Exchange, and this is the right time to hand over the chair to Therese Cedercreutz, who is a talented, experienced visionary and a professional in strategy as well as in board work”, says Board member Kari Juurakko.
The Board of the company also decided to change the composition of the Audit Committee. The committee will consist of Therese Cedercreutz (Chairman), Kari Juurakko and Pasi Kohmo.
