CVS Group plc chooses Nordhealth as Practice Management Software Partner

Provet Cloud to be utilized by one of the largest integrated veterinary service providers in Europe

Provet Cloud, the cloud-based practice management solution from Nordhealth, announced today that CVS Group plc (“CVS”) will implement Provet Cloud’s practice management software across all of its veterinary practices.

CVS is an AIM-quoted fully-integrated veterinary service provider in Europe, operating c.500 veterinary surgeries throughout the UK, the Republic of Ireland, and the Netherlands. Employing  c.2,100 veterinarians and c.3,000 nurses, the success of CVS is derived from the dedication their people have for providing high-quality care for animals.

Alongside their veterinary practices, CVS also operates diagnostic laboratories, pet crematoria, a successful online retail business (Animed Direct), a preventative healthcare scheme (Healthy Pet Club) with over 475,000 members as well as a veterinary instruments business and two buying groups. The culture at CVS is reflected by its vision to be the veterinary company people most want to work for and its purpose to provide the best possible care to animals through their values of customer focus, commitment to excellence, honesty and integrity and success through their people.

“It is such a privilege to be working with CVS, a leading corporate group that has a compelling vision for change and digital adoption,” said Charles Macbain, CEO of Nordhealth. “This partnership underlines our position as a proven entity supporting the veterinary sector in the UK where we continue to be successful at the top of the market, as well as a growing number of independent practices. We’re excited to demonstrate Provet Cloud as the change partner of choice as the most forward-thinking player in the market.”

CVS sought a partner that could help to deliver its vision of digital transformation and could improve customer experience by leveraging key technologies such as a mobile app and online booking. By digitising their operations, CVS will help their practice teams save time via automation enabling care teams to spend more time caring for their patients.

“We chose to partner with Provet Cloud for its proven operational excellence in supporting large-scale implementations and open software infrastructure,” said Richard Fairman, CEO of CVS. “Provet Cloud is built and designed for scalability supporting hundreds of locations and is already partnered with some of Europe’s largest corporate groups. As we look to invest in our practices’ technologies, we need a partner that provides best-in-class operational efficiencies, but also the ability to reduce stress for our staff while improving the experience for our patients. We found this in Provet Cloud.”
