Enviro wins international sustainability award, Recircle Awards

At the new international event Recircle Awards, Scandinavian Enviro Systems has been proclaimed winner in the Tyre Pyrolysis Award category. The award has been instituted by several prominent actors in the rubber and tyre industry with the aim of drawing attention to valuable contributions that promote a circular economy at a global level.

“Innovation is the core of the circular economy and a necessity for a sustainable future, which is the very foundation of Enviro's operations. Attention like this is an important part of spreading global knowledge of developments in our industry and of Enviro. It also reinforces our position as the leading actor, which strengthens the foundation of our expansion. We are honoured by the award," says Thomas Sörensson, CEO Enviro.

Just over a month ago, it was announced that Enviro had been nominated for a new award, the Recircle Awards, in the Tyre Pyrolysis Award category. Voting was open to the public and ended on March 5th. It is now clear that the Swedish cleantech company takes home the victory.

In their communication, The Recircle Awards writes about Enviro’s win: "In recognition of a particularly noteworthy contribution to the tyre recycling sector by a pyrolysis company."

“This further confirms that Enviro has an up-to-date technology that interests a global market that has a focus on sustainability," says Thomas Sörensson.

The award is one of several positive news that has surrounded Enviro recently. The main news is the strategic cooperation agreement with the company Michelin, which includes the establishment of a new recycling plant in Chile. At Enviro's Extraordinary General Meeting, which recently approved the agreement, shareholders were also further informed about the company's expansion plans.
