OEM International acquires brake experts Rydahls

OEM International has today acquired all shares in AB Ernst Hj Rydahl Bromsbandsfabrik, called Rydahls. The company has head office in Swedish Karlstad, sales offices in five more locations in Sweden and is a leading supplier of brake and friction components in the Nordic countries. Rydahls has 45 employees and a yearly turnover of approximately 120 MSEK.

-     Rydahls has during 100 years built a unique strong market position and we are looking forward to be a part of the future development. Some parts of the product range has a connection with other business areas within OEM International, but Rydahls will essentially add a brand new market segment to the group, says Jörgen Zahlin, Managing Director and CEO for OEM International.

The acquisition is expected to have a marginal positive impact on OEM’s profit for the current year.
