Dolphin Drilling Ltd., a subsidiary of Fred. Olsen Energy ASA, has entered into a one well plus four option contract with BP Exploration Operating Company Ltd. for use of the semi-submersible drilling rig Blackford Dolphin for operations in the UK North Sea. The contract is scheduled to commence May 2018. The estimated contract value for the firm scope, estimated to 60 days, is GBP 5.9 million.
